Trip back to Malaysia

I went back to Malaysia (yes I am from Malaysia) in December for almost 4 weeks. It has been almost 2 years since I went home. Nothing much changed. It was a long trip. I took Cathay Pacific. The trip back was pretty scary. Apparently someone passed out in the plane and they make a big deal out of it. Anyways ... when the plane approached KL, there was a nice view of the city from above. It was georgous.

I was in my hometown, Ipoh, most of the time. Ipoh is 2 hours drive North of KL. I went hiking at Bukit Kledang (Kledang Hill). It's only 5 min drive from my house. I have always wanted to hike Bukit Kledang again. The last time I hiked was probably 7 years ago. So yay! ... The weather was humid and hot as always. But it was fun. On Christmas Eve, I went to Haadyai with my parents. We drove up there. It was only 4.5 hours drive from Ipoh. It was pretty and fun. And of course the food was very very good !!!! We spent Christmas at Haadyai. The last I was there, I was 12 years old. Things were cheap back then. We stayed right in the city. So it was very convenient to walk around. I went back to the place where I remember I had the fake bird nest soup when I was 12. Haha. It was funny. I knew they were fake but I still wanted to eat them again. For memory sake. The whole trip was awesome. It was good to see my parents again and my extended family again. I also went back to my Nanny's house. It was awesome. Brought back so much memory.
