Trip to Maine

For some reasons, I have been traveling a lot lately. It all started last October (2006) when I decided to go to Maine to see the foliage. I have always wanted to go there. Finally I had it all planned out and went to Acadia National Park with my travel buddy, Dave. We flew to Boston and drove up to Maine from Boston. On the way to Acadia, we stopped at Ogunquit. Oqunquit is a small tourist town. It was beautiful . Too bad it was a bit cold. Otherwise, I'll jump into the water. Then we headed to Acadia. We got to Bar Harbor around 8pm. Everyting was pretty much closed. I was kinda of pissed about it because I thought I was gonna treat myself with some Maine lobster. Oh well. It was a long drive from Boston to Bar Harbor. Dave drove the whole way. So thanks Dave.

Next day, it was raining. But that didn't stop us from going to the park. We drove around the park. It was beautiful. We were taking pic non stop. Each view is a postcard. At one point, Dave was climbing on a rock to snap pics. He slipped, fall and broke my camera. The front shutter piece came. The camera stills works. Just a bit disfigured. He felt pretty bad about it. Every once in while I would brought it up to make him feel bad .. haha ..... At night time, we had lobsters .. finally. It wasn't cheap tho. Cost almost $30 per person for the meal. But it was good.

The next day, the sky cleared up. We decided to drove the same path again. It was beaufiful. We went hiking for a bit and we went to the light house. We had lobster again for dinner. This time it was cheaper. It was around $20.

The next day we woke up early and drove up the hill to see the sunrise. It was so cold and windy. But I guess it was worth it . Later, we drove back to Boston. On the way back, we drove to stop by Portland and walked around. Later we drove back to Boston. The next day we flew back to DC. The trip was awesome!!!!
